About the role
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers providing compassionate, patient-centered care since 1954. Services include 24-hour emergency care and most major medical, surgical, and diagnostic services.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider using the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
- Functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization.
- Demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Guides ancillary staff and collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Bleeds compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an LPN program
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLs and PALS certifications preferred (within 180 days)
