Position Overview

Casper Mountain Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through direct resident care, clinical support, and collaboration within a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing services in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and established clinical protocols
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of resident condition, documenting findings and reporting changes promptly to the appropriate members of the care team
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with scope of practice and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and optimal clinical outcomes
  • Provide education and guidance to residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and overall health management
  • Supervise and direct CNAs and support staff to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with established standards
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Participate in infection prevention, quality improvement, and resident safety initiatives
  • Respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations using sound clinical judgment and established procedures
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable federal and state regulations

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Wyoming
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care across a range of clinical conditions and acuity levels
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Effective critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving resident outcomes
