About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lorien Columbia provides high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and care plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates a kind, patient, and empathetic approach while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care and supporting resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document resident health needs and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of living spaces
• Document all nursing activities and communications accurately

Requirements

• Maryland LPN license, valid and in good standing
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved LPN program
• At least one year of relevant work experience preferred

Pay

$27.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Full Time, Full-Time Flex, Part Time and PRN. Schedule Days, Evenings and Nights. Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday).
