About the role

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. Responsibilities include meeting the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, as well as the communication needs of the patient and family, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care.
• Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
• Perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• IV certification upon hire.

Schedule

• Part-time, less than 60 hours per pay period.
• 12-hour night shifts.
