About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are committed to providing quality-driven care and setting and exceeding standards in practice. Our nurses are role models of dedication, treating every patient with respect and kindness.
Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
- Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
- Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Nursing License required by the state.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Compliant with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history.
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and able to handle stress.
- Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
