About the Role
The Columbia clinic is seeking a team-oriented LPN to join a team of therapists, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff to deliver care that saves lives. Mental health experiences preferred.
Responsibilities
- Functions as staff LPN utilizing the nursing process with performing comprehensive psychiatric /mental health assessments.
- Evaluates mental status and refers clients to other treatment providers when necessary.
- Maintains CLIA waived laboratory environment including Quality Control testing and documentation.
- Provides healthcare education to clients and/or families or staff as assigned.
- Completes clinical documentation within organization’s policy standards.
- Maintains all mandatory trainings up to date.
- May provide assigned residential nursing services as directed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Minimum of six months to one year experience in psychiatric or equivalent mental health related nursing experience is preferred.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

- Must have the ability to work cooperatively with all staff and physicians and function as a valuable member of the treatment team.
