About the Role
Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in the Rehabilitation department, providing direct patient care in acute care settings such as Med-Surg units.
Responsibilities
- Utilize top of scope nursing skills and the nursing process to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Model proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Support specialty education and competency validation.
- Provide care in specialty acute care units with moderate to high patient acuity.
- Participate in evidence-based care models supported by clinical educators.
- Uphold safety, quality, and professional standards.
- Embrace ongoing education and certification standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
- Hold valid state licensure as an LPN or LVN.
- Possess BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
