About the role

McCormick Post Acute is a family-oriented community located on the SC & GA border, offering 12-hour shifts with options for days and nights. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure all nursing personnel comply with policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities.
• Review and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Make recommendations for revisions to policies and procedures.
• Meet with nursing staff and support personnel.
• Participate in the quality assurance program.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents.
• Complete accident/incident reports.
• Chart nurses’ notes and complete various forms.
• Prepare and administer medications.
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Report drug and narcotic discrepancies.
• Perform routine charting duties.
• Sign and date all entries in the resident’s medical record.
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions and their room assignments.
• Greet newly admitted residents and escort them to their rooms.
• Requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Consult with the resident’s physician.
• Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards.
• Inspect treatment areas and ensure they are clean and safe.
• Administer professional services as needed.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active, unencumbered South Carolina LPN license.

Qualifications

• New graduates are welcome.

Pay

$30 – $34/hr with shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Schedule

12-hour shifts available, including days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
