About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse integrates skills and knowledge to provide patient-centered nursing care to meet the needs of patients on the unit. Assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care including but not limited to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Performs basic life support and other emergency procedures as necessary.
Requirements
- Current West Virginia license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The shift will be determined by each hiring manager.
