About the role

Provides nursing support to the physician and provides direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and/or as directed by the overseeing role, to promote comfort and/or return to functional health for the patient.
• Consults with the Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to seek guidance in delivery of nursing care, as necessary.
• Performs designated therapeutic procedures to assigned patients as needed.
