About the role
The Field Operations team at ADT is responsible for bringing our smart security solutions to life. This includes installing and supporting advanced low-voltage systems, performing site assessments, system testing, and educating customers on system features.
Responsibilities
- Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
- Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
- Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
- Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics
- Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style
- Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment
