About the role
Under the direction of the site or District administrator, the Low Voltage Specialist contributes to the District’s mission of fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence and ensures an emotionally safe setting for students.
The Specialist installs, maintains, tests, verifies, services, and secures all aspects of the District’s low-voltage systems, including:
- Conduits and building penetrations
- Ethernet, fiber, and relay cabling
- Cable terminations and network cabinets
- Backup uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units
- IP video surveillance, IP telephony, and IP paging systems
- Access control systems
- Classroom technology (projection/display systems, audio systems, and associated equipment)
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. This is a short-term position with no fringe benefits.
