Low Voltage Security Technician

About the role

This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage security systems including burglar and fire alarms, IP surveillance cameras, and related equipment. The technician will also assist with delivering and setting up equipment at remote job sites.

Responsibilities

• Pulling cable and maintaining trailer/equipment
• Maintaining and troubleshooting burglar and fire alarm systems
• Installing or troubleshooting IP surveillance cameras
• Assisting with other wireless/camera jobs
• Delivering equipment to remote job sites
• Setting up and developing cutting edge security devices/systems

Requirements

• MUST have a clean DMV record
• Experience with IP Surveillance Cameras
• Experience with Milestone (preferred)
• Experience with Alarms and Low Voltage Equipment
• Experience with routers and cellular communications (REQUIRED)
• Must be a team player and able to work independently
• Must be able to work at heights and lift 50 lbs
• Daily travel with some overnight travel is required
