Lounge Server - AM/PM (Full-Time Year Round)

About the role

Food and Beverage Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt food and beverage server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present food and beverage preferences
• Gain menu knowledge and provide recommendations from cuisine and drink offerings
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience through personal style and service attributes
• Perform general restaurant preparation and maintain a sanitary environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced and high volume environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility in scheduling needs with ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Previous food service experience required (Hospitality industry and/or fine dining experience preferred)
• Must have current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency
• Food service and/or other certification as required
