Responsibilities

• Exceptional customer service
• Cash handling and accounting
• Operating a cash register
• Stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying bar inventories
• Housekeeping inside and outside of the casino
• Mixing and completing drink orders
• Remembering regular customer’s names and faces
• Maintaining legal age requirements
• Waiting on customers playing games and at the tables
• Cleaning and keeping bar furniture neatly arranged
• Suggesting selling and helping customers with gaming machine operations
• Wearing the uniform and keeping appearance neat and clean
• Answering and screening telephone calls
• Greeting customers
• Verifying that customers are of age
• Taking orders
• Cleaning restrooms, dusting, windows, and floors
• Emptying trash cans, washing dishes, cleaning tables, and messes of others
• Accurately making change and accounting for large amounts of cash
• Stocking, pricing, receiving, and rotating of bar products and supplies
• Changing out kegs and other inventory
• Using a fire extinguisher and understanding the safety manual
• Advise the manager of any personnel situations or policy violations
• Calling maintenance person or gaming Machine Company to repair machines or assist with changing the paper or ribbons
• Changing tape (paper) in gambling machines
• Vacuuming lounge floor, mopping and sweeping floor behind bar, washing glassware, and cleaning bar/work area
• Arranging bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Handling disruptive customers in a professional manner
• Properly documenting incidents on an incident report
• Communicating with the manager on products that need to be ordered
• Planning bar menus, creating drink recipes, ordering and requisitioning liquors and supplies
• Serving snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar
• Serving drinks, picking up empty glasses, pitchers, cans, bottles, and litter
• Filling and carrying buckets of ice from icemaker to bar
• Changing soda premix syrup boxes
• Changing taps on kegs of beer and removing empty kegs
• Serving snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar
• Receiving payments for drinks, retail sales, etc.
• Operating cash register
• Tallying transactions
• Assisting patrons with verifying wins
• Recording and making payouts to gambling machine winners
• Accurately and effectively completing shift paperwork
• Balancing tills and cash receipts

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Must be able to handle stressful situations professionally.

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
