Lottery Sales Representative (St. Louis region)

About the role

The State of Missouri is seeking a sales representative to promote Missouri Lottery products to retail establishments in designated areas of St. Louis City and St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective retail accounts
• Provide service to established accounts
• Provide information and assistance to retailers regarding Lottery policies and procedures
• Negotiate with retailers regarding expansion of Lottery product lines and placement of merchandising materials and equipment

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in Marketing, Business Administration, or closely related field
• Two years’ experience in wholesale, route sales, commercial sales, or persuasive sales
• Qualifying experience can substitute for education
• Previous merchandising responsibility
• The ability to sell and install point-of-sale materials

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40-50 lbs.
• Pass a comprehensive background check
• Have a good driving record

The salary listed in this job description is a base salary. Applicants eligible for years-of-service adjustments may exceed the salary range listed above.
