Responsibilities

• Handle and drive all cars safely to protect dealership property and ensure damage prevention
• Drive off-site to perform dealership tasks when necessary
• Take detailed notes on vehicle conditions and movements
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice (e.g., spare tires, radio, and stereo equipment)
• Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
• Assign stock control numbers to cars
• Catalog and store keys
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work unusual business hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Positive attitude, high energy, and excellent communication and social skills
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information (electronic or paper-based)
• Ability to accommodate the physical requirements of the role: standing 6-8 hours per day, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Spend most of the time outdoors and be exposed to the elements
