Lot Porter

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Serves vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
• Cleans and washes vehicles as needed.
• Maintains lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Maintains shop cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
• Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Fulfills all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• An unrestricted California driver's license and a clean driving record.
• The ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• The ability to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• A highly professional and dependable individual.
• An excellent communicator, customer service provider, and problem solver, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• A customer service-oriented individual.
• A team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
• A self-motivated individual with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
• A friendly individual with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
• Able to multi-task.
• Bilingual a plus.
