LOT PORTER

Core Responsibilities

• Moving vehicles in the service drive and sales lot to maintain traffic flow and display standards.
• Maintain an orderly parking area, sales lot, service lane, and showroom appearance.
• Wash customer and dealership vehicles as needed.
• Assist customers with questions and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
• Moves cars, as directed, in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Supports management and other departments as directed.
• Oversees vehicle delivery process, including managing delivery boards and gas slips.
• Assists with new car check-ins, inspections, and dealer trades.
• Compares serial numbers of incoming vehicles against invoices.
• Catalogs and stores keys; makes key tags for vehicles.

Requirements

• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Enthusiastic.
• Friendly.
• Minimum of 18 years old with a current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• This position requires the ability to bend, kneel, walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather.
