About the role
This role is responsible for driving and towing RVs, using the forklift (varies by location), and maintaining the appearance of the RV lots.
Responsibilities
- Transport RV’s to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locations
- Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RV's as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Makes a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessary
- Keeps units in a “sale-ready” condition
- Maintains Dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/Manager
- Affords assistance with pre-delivery inspections
- Fills vehicles with gas
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Experience: Minimum of one year detailing experience is preferred; Experience in RV or automotive dealership environment is preferred; Forklift experience/certification preferred
- Abilities: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; Attention to detail; Pride of workmanship and follow-through are essential; Ability to work independently as well as on a team; Ability to drive a tractor and other towing vehicles; Ability to navigate risks associated with working around machines, tools, and RVs; Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed; Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending; Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
