Job Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area to the defined standard.
- Utilize information from the Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make move decisions.
- Stage assigned zone area to eliminate multiple drop-off points and less than full loads.
- Confirm vehicle operability and engage service and tow teams.
- Label vehicles with sale and routing labels.
- Communicate inventory levels and prioritize tasks with crew leaders and managers.
- Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful treatment of employees.
- Implement company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
- Follow safety and health procedures and demonstrate safety behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license with a standard and automatic transmission.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle identification and operation.
- Preferred 6 months of auction or driving experience.
- Knowledge of lot operations and layout.
- Knowledge of LDM (Lot-to-Delivery Management).
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Close, distance, and color vision.
- Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods.
- Able to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level.
Pay & Benefits
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. Additional compensation may include commission and/or an incentive program. Eligible for paid time off, holidays, and various forms of leave.
