Lot Driver - ADESA Tulsa

About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager or designated manager, you will operate motor vehicles on the premises to support auction activities. Your primary responsibility is transporting and staging vehicles in designated areas under leadership direction to ensure smooth lot operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate motor vehicles safely with conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
- Support efficient lot flow by positioning vehicles accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
- Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
- Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
- Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
- Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
- Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
- Follow company procedures for accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure compliance with all state or federal laws.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license that meets requirements.
- Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
- Automotive or auction experience preferred.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (subject to change).

Physical activity requirements range from light to medium physical work, including:

Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to definitions for clerical, administrative, and machine operators (including inspection) positions.
This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather, and minor atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
