Lot Driver - ADESA Salt Lake City

About the role

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, operates in over 50 locations across the US. We provide vehicle services including repair, reconditioning, and auction remarketing. We're looking for part-time Lot Drivers to support auction activities.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative driving habits.
• Vehicle Staging: Ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
• Operational Support: Move, stage, and park vehicles in designated areas.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system.
• Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Promptly notify managers of driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license meeting requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
