Lot Attendant at busy Chevrolet Dealership

Responsibilities

• Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility
• Maintaining an orderly service parking area, lot and vehicle display, car preparation, shop and showroom appearance
• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Moves incoming cars to compare serial numbers against invoices
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice
• Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt
• Parks new vehicles in assigned areas
• Catalogs and stores keys
• Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
• Serves vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration

Qualifications

• Friendly and customer service focused
• Reliable
• Able to multitask and work under pressure
• This position requires the ability to bend, kneel, walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather
• Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Customer Service experience is preferred
• Professional appearance is necessary
• Valid driver’s license AND good driving record is required
• Must have the values of Honesty and Integrity!
