About the role

Hours for this position are 1 PM to 8 PM one weekday, 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays, and Sunday (hours not specified).

Responsibilities

• Move customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility.
• Maintain an orderly service parking area, lot, vehicle display, car preparation, shop, and showroom appearance.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles.
• Clean interior and exterior windows.
• Vacuum and scrub vehicle interiors.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Utilize special-purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles.
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Record descriptions of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalog and store keys.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
• Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Friendly and customer-service focused.
• Reliable and able to multitask under pressure.
• Able to bend, kneel, walk, or stand for long periods in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Professional appearance.
