Lot Attendant ($16/hr) - Mass General Hospital
About the role
The Lot Attendant plays a crucial part in ensuring exceptional hospitality services and accurate revenue collection at Towne Park. This role involves providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests, managing vehicle parking, and adhering to site management policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, staff, and colleagues.
- Acknowledge and greet guests immediately, using proper Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Provide information about the surrounding area and main attractions as needed.
- Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
- Stack vehicles when necessary, using Towne Park standards for parking.
- Accurately collect and reconcile revenue, furnish receipts upon request, and complete shift reports.
- Secure guest keys immediately after each interaction and maintain claim checks and guest folios.
- Manage guest vehicle inventory for billing purposes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
- Ability to read and write standard English language.
- Ability to understand and follow established practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
Skills
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Register/Computer experience preferred.
- Manual driving skills and parallel parking ability.
- Reading and writing skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position is $16 per hour.
Schedule
The work schedule for this position is 8:30am-5pm full-time. Part-time availability is also available.
