Loss Prevention Specialist (Sun-Thurs 11pm-730am)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas including sales floor, stockrooms, warehouses, parking lots, and entry/exit points to detect and deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems, alarm monitoring equipment, and visual observation to identify suspicious behavior and potential security threats
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations including theft, disturbances, medical emergencies, and safety hazards in accordance with company protocols
• Document all incidents, observations, and security activities through detailed written reports, logs, and incident documentation systems
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and management when incidents require external intervention or escalation
• Conduct internal investigations regarding suspected theft, fraud, or policy violations by employees, vendors, or customers
• Inspect and test security equipment including cameras, alarms, locks, and access control systems to ensure proper functionality
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence that promotes a safe shopping and working environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree in criminal justice, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Preferred 1-2 years of Safety, Security, and Loss Prevention experience
• Valid Driver’s License, Preferred

Work Environment

• This position is located in an active industrial distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation.
• The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
• The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety-sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.

Pay

Hourly $17.00-$21.00

11p-7:30a + differential
