Loss Prevention Officer

About the Role

A Security and Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and security of property areas by patrolling, assisting guests, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies. This role involves handling incidents, conducting investigations, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting both security protocols and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises; assist guests with room access
• Respond to accidents, emergencies, and security incidents
• Investigate and document incidents, gather evidence, and conduct interviews
• Escort unwelcome persons; report vehicle accidents or thefts
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies
• Support guest service by addressing needs and ensuring safety
• Complete daily activity reports and safety documentation
• Support team collaboration and uphold professional appearance and conduct

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• No prior work or supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand, walk, lift objects up to 50 lbs, and respond quickly
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Capable of handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in various environments
