Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting hazard inspections, and responding to emergencies. Provides excellent guest service by welcoming and assisting guests, including those with disabilities, and addressing their needs professionally while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all policies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property and monitor surveillance systems
• Conduct hazard inspections and respond to emergencies
• Assist guests and handle disturbances
• Investigate incidents and complete reports
• Escort unwelcome persons from the premises
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions
• Provide guest service, including assisting guests with disabilities
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and move through various environments
• Strong communication, observational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to respond swiftly to situations and perform physical tasks as needed
