Essential Functions
- Interfaces with company employees; deals effectively with all levels of management and subordinates.
- Ensure all exit searches are effective.
- Supervise and oversee the training of all lead security officers and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare weekly / monthly Loss Prevention statistics for company.
- Manage budgets; reviews invoices for accuracy, reviews staffing levels and recommends changes as appropriate.
- Manage accurate completion of company-wide P1 / High Priority shipments.
- Participate in various test and check programs as outlined by Loss Prevention Director.
- Maintain master key control system, badge / access control system, electronic tour/patrol system and cctv system; maintain a high level of understanding and proficiency in all security related systems.
- Investigate / report theft and misconduct that affects company employees and customer / company assets. Must be available for after-hour emergency calls via cell phone / home phone.
- Ensure successful implementation and continuation of enhanced High Security Protocol (HSP), procedures / requirements.
- Familiarity with most current versions of customer Supply Chain Security Requirements. Assist in designing and writing departmental procedures.
- Conducts company security and safety audits. Manage shift logs, patrol logs, alarm, and computer printouts. Review accident reports and assist members of EH&S with preliminary accident investigations as needed.
- Completion of First Responder program to minimum level successful certification.
- Submit methods to reduce or omit risk.
- Ensure all electronic security equipment functions properly.
- Tracking of Loss Prevention related KPIs. Ensure compliance of all customer security requirements.
Required Experience
- Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to perform the job successfully.
- Requires above average ability to read, write, and speak English, prepare reports, and follow instructions.
- Work with minimum supervision.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excell, Power Point.
- Should be certified in CPR/first aid.
- Will have the ability to use electronic monitoring equipment relating to fire/life safety.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from four-year college or university preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Will frequently monitor a closed-circuit television.
- Will continuously monitor a radio frequency.
