Loss Prevention Associates - Food Market

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring Loss Prevention Associates to oversee a Food Market located in Brooklyn. Positions are full-time, with shifts available from 2pm - 10pm, and workdays are flexible, including Fridays through Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a Food Market location
• Contribute to the company's core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems, and solutions to serve, secure, and care for the communities and customers we serve
• Apprehend shoplifters following company policy and guidelines
• Blend into a retail environment
• Perform successful customer surveillance while walking the sales floor
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Previous Law Enforcement or Military preferred or prior retail Loss Prevention experience - Undercover experience a plus

Pay

$25.63 per hour
