Loss Prevention Associates - Food Market

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring Loss Prevention Associates to oversee a Retail Store located in Manhattan. Positions are available full-time, with shifts ranging from 2pm - 11pm and workdays from Friday to Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the company’s core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems, and solutions to serve, secure, and care for the people and businesses of our communities.
• Apprehend shoplifters and other security issues following company policy and guidelines.
• Blend into a retail environment and perform successful customer surveillance while walking the sales floor.
• Handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
• Travel to store locations within 25 miles of home.
• Work retail store hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Previous Law Enforcement or Military preferred or prior retail Loss Prevention experience - Undercover experience a plus.

Pay

$25.63 per hour.
