Loss Prevention Agent

About the Role

Hobby Lobby's Loss Prevention Department is seeking a full time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent. This position is solely focused on discreetly walking the sales floor undercover to apprehend shoplifters. There are no risk management, safety, door greeting, alarms, audits or inventory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters
• Deter shoplifting activity
• Complete incident reports
• Review camera footage
• Review BOLO's
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgement
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• At least one (1) year previous undercover, floor walking loss prevention experience required
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
• Strong communication skills
• Motor vehicle record check
• Background check
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking

Pay

Starting range: $25.00 - $26.00 / hour

Schedule

• Two 3-day weekends per month
• Sundays, Thanksgiving and Christmas always off
• Variety of working in multiple stores within your area
