Loss Prevention Agent

About the role

Hobby Lobby’s Loss Prevention Department is seeking a full-time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent to protect our stores. This position focuses solely on undercover, plain-clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters. Responsibilities do not include risk management, safety, door greeting, alarms, audits, or inventory.

Responsibilities

• Complete incident reports
• Review camera footage
• Apprehend shoplifters
• Review BOLOs (Be On the Lookout alerts)
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgement
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking

Requirements

• At least one year of previous undercover, floor-walking loss prevention experience
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
• Strong communication skills
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Pass a background check

Schedule

Full-time position with great work schedules, including two 3-day weekends per month and Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas always off.
