Loss Control Field Inspector

About the role

NEIS, a subsidiary of ARMStrong Insurance Services, is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to conduct insurance loss control inspections on commercial or residential properties. This is a part-time/occasional position with flexible, self-determined scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties to identify risks and hazards.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to assess potential risks and reduce the chance of accidents.
• Prepare and manage a schedule to maximize efficiency and ensure timely service.
• Correspond with insured individuals via phone, email, and text to schedule appointments.
• Complete physical loss control surveys to identify current issues or hazards.
• Prepare detailed reports after inspections, including multiple photographs.
• Communicate survey status through internal progress reports.

Requirements

• Proficient use of a digital camera, word processing software, and email.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record (based on NEIS guidelines).
• Must live within a 30-mile radius of the assigned territory.
• Home-based role with required travel to inspection locations within the assigned territory.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury limits equal to or greater than $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined.

Pay

• Compensation: $50 and up per inspection, depending on job and location.
• Base pay, mileage reimbursement, and production pay—all paid weekly.
