Job Summary

Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for the automotive industry to join our team as a Technician/ Skilled Labor/Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Detect and resolve a broad spectrum of automotive issues across various makes and models
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and resources to accurately diagnose and fix problems
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about repair recommendations and costs
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulations while working in the service department
• Efficiently and accurately complete vehicle repairs and services, ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Engage in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry advancements and trends

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Previous experience as an automotive technician or a strong mechanical background
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Own tools and ASE certifications (not required)
• Pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to over $100,000+ per year based on experience and skill level. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
