About the role
We are currently looking for physicians in the Corpus Christi area to join the VPA team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a home setting
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with a team of medical assistants and patient care coordinators
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical integration programs
- Utilize best practices in chronic care management and population health management
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience in home-based primary care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Average of 10 patients per day, no nights, no holidays, no hospital rounds, minimal call responsibilities
