About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching boys golf at Akron beginning in August.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive golf program for boys
- Work closely with the athletic director and other coaches to ensure team success
- Manage team equipment and facilities
- Attend all home and away games and tournaments
- Maintain communication with players, parents, and administration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of golf rules and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth sports
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a background check
