Longo Lexus Product & Delivery Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Lexus Delivery Specialist that can thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment to deliver new and Lexus Certified vehicles to our guests after their purchase. You will explain all vehicle functions and features to ensure our guests get the most out of their vehicle. This full-time position requires weekend and evening coverage to align with guest availability. You’ll collaborate with an exceptional sales team at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and confirm the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Ensure vehicle serial numbers match those on the delivery paperwork.
• Complete delivery paperwork/electronic transactions in a timely manner as defined by the dealership.
• Arrive on time to scheduled appointments and maintain constant communication with designated sales personnel regarding vehicle deliveries, reporting any issues, concerns, or schedule changes.
• Stay current with all product knowledge, especially new features, accessories, and their benefits for guests.
• Introduce guests to dealership operations, including service and parts departments, to emphasize quality and efficiency.
• Maintain and achieve sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience in the automobile or technology industries (preferred).
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles, basic mathematical concepts, equity values, depreciation, and laws governing retail automotive sales.
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees, read and comprehend instructions in English, and learn relevant federal, state, and local laws.
• Strong judgment in challenging situations, attention to detail, and follow-up with guests and employees.
• Professional communication skills (phone, internet, and in-person).
• Proficiency with standard office equipment.
• A valid California driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Pay

Wages include a base hourly rate of $20.00.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA, requiring weekend and evening coverage.
