Responsibilities

• Teach music to students in grades K-5
• Inspire and engage students in authentic, challenging, and relevant learning experiences
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Implement culturally responsive teaching practices to support the unique gifts, talents, and interests of every child

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement in Music Education
• Experience teaching music in a K-5 setting
• Strong knowledge of music theory and pedagogy
