Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Grade 1

About the Role

A long-term substitute is needed for the 1st-grade teacher position at McKenzie Elementary School to cover a long-term leave. Approximate Dates: 08/17/2026-09/18/2026. Long-term substitutes are required to attend the paid New Teacher Orientation Aug. 11-13.

Qualifications

• Valid IL Educator Licensure with proper endorsement

Pay

• The daily rate of pay is $150/day
• Substitutes working 20 consecutive days in the role of a teacher/licensed position are considered long-term
• The daily rate of pay for long-term substitutes is $250/day
