Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach English Learners (see VDOE website for details).
• Innovative, self-reflective, collaborative, knowledgeable in content area and instructional practices, and continually growing and improving.
• Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps.
• Prepared to engage with the Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of the Equity Mission Statement.

Pay

$271.73 per day

Location

Hollymead Elementary School, Albemarle County, Virginia (Charlottesville area). Situated near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park, approximately 100 miles south of Washington, DC and 70 miles west of Richmond, with easy access to the Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic beaches, and New York via Amtrak.
