About the Role
A long-term substitute position for a 4th grade teacher at Trebein Elementary School. This role is defined by the Ohio Department of Education as an assignment for the same person in the same position for more than five consecutive days.
Pay
- $135 per day for the first 20 days in the same assignment.
- $245.04 per day beginning with the 21st day in the same assignment, commensurate with a Bachelor's Degree and no experience on the current PSM salary schedule.
- From the 1st to the 60th day in the same assignment, substitutes will not be paid for scheduled days schools are closed (e.g., in-service days, calamity days).
Benefits
- No fringe benefits accrue for the first 60 days.
- Beginning with the 61st day of continuous service in the same assignment, benefits begin to accrue, including sick days, personal days, and calamity days.
- Medical and dental insurance may be purchased at 50% of the Board's cost starting on the 61st day.
- If there is a break in continuous service, these benefits are lost.
- Substitutes meeting Affordable Care Act eligibility requirements for health insurance will be offered the High Deductible Health Insurance Plan available at the time of eligibility.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Ohio Teaching License appropriate for the position.
