About the role
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans to meet the needs of students with special educational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and individual student needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- A valid teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current special education methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
