About the role

The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans to meet the needs of students with special educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and individual student needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• A valid teaching license in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current special education methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
