Long Term Substitute Social Worker Overview To support school success and engagement by providing school social work services to students and families to support social emotional and life adjustment needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide prevention and intervention programming for students
• Advocate as a school community liaison for families by connecting them to needed resources/agencies
• Provide individual intervention
• Collaborate with community agencies to provide services to students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ohio Teaching License - School Social Worker
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
• Master's Degree in Social Science Administration or in Social Work

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of school social work experience
• Previous experience in a multicultural school district
