About the role
Canisteo Greenwood High School is seeking a long-term Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is for a 7th-grade science class teaching general science. NYS certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach general science to 7th graders
- Adhere to the curriculum and educational standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff as needed
Requirements
- NYS certification (preferred)
- Experience teaching general science at the middle school level
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
