About the role

The Arlington Public Schools is accepting applications for a long-term substitute teacher to teach in a Grade 4 Classroom at the Hardy Elementary School from the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year until October 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a Grade 4 Classroom at the Hardy Elementary School
• Collaborate with grade level teams and regular and special educators
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Implement the District's approved curriculum for all subjects
• Work diligently and collaboratively with other teachers

Requirements

• Appropriate licensing for the position
• Experience working with children
• Willingness to differentiate instruction
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and safe learning environment
• English as a Second Language license preferred
