About the role
Long Term Substitute Teacher for high school aged students with an Intervention Specialist focus and English concentration, located at PACE.
Schedule
Start date: October 12, 2026. End date: May 28, 2027.
Pay
Daily rate: $125.00 per day; after 30 consecutive days the daily rate increases to $252.71 per day.
Requirements
- Valid certification to teach the assigned content area as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Intervention Specialist license preferred.
Skills
- Ability to adapt knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment.
- Scholarly competence in the structure and content of the subject area (English).
- Ability to communicate with students and parents the manner in which the curriculum relates to them.
- Ability to work and interact with other staff members, students, and administration in a cooperative and productive manner.
