Long-Term Substitute

The Long-Term Substitute provides instructional continuity during an extended teacher absence or when a classroom position cannot be filled by a licensed teacher. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, implementing lesson plans or developing instruction as needed, monitoring student progress, and following district policies and procedures. The long-term substitute works collaboratively with school staff to support student learning and ensure the effective operation of the classroom throughout the assignment.
