Scope of Responsibilities

  • Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Fills incoming prescriptions following standard procedures.

Job Summary

Assists pharmacy staff in the filling of incoming prescriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to all customers.
  • Aid in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders.
  • Restock workstation filling supplies.
  • Print delivery manifest.
  • Scan medications to proper bins.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a professional environment.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Attendance Requirements: Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
  • Education Requirements: Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED. Preferred: AS Degree or Higher.
  • Experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Vermont Employees: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • New Hampshire Employees: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Ohio Employees: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pay

$14.20 - $16.25 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
