Scope of Responsibilities
- Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Fills incoming prescriptions following standard procedures.
Job Summary
Assists pharmacy staff in the filling of incoming prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service to all customers.
- Aid in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders.
- Restock workstation filling supplies.
- Print delivery manifest.
- Scan medications to proper bins.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a professional environment.
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Attendance Requirements: Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
- Education Requirements: Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED. Preferred: AS Degree or Higher.
- Experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Requirements
- Vermont Employees: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
- New Hampshire Employees: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Ohio Employees: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.
Pay
$14.20 - $16.25 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
